The Fine Line

House Rules

  • Private events only 
  • No public advertising or promotion
  • No ticket sales or admission fees
  • No alcohol sales or distribution
  • No smoking on the premise 
  • Maximum occupancy: 350 person 
  • Security required for large events
  • All trash and event items must be removed
  • Children must be supervised at all times
     

Failure to comply may result in immediate termination without refund.

Alcohol Policy

Journey Event Center does not permit the sale or distribution of alcohol on the premises.


Alcohol-related activities requiring permits, licenses, or sales are strictly prohibited.


Any violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of the event without refund.

Smoking Policy

 Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited:

  • Inside the building 
  • In restrooms
  • Near entrances or exits
  • On surrounding property and overflow parking areas
     

Violation of this policy may result in loss of deposit and immediate event termination.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.


  • More than 60 days prior to the event: Full refund minus a $75 administrative fee
     
  • 30–59 days prior: 50% refund
     
  • Less than 30 days prior: No refund; deposit forfeited
     
  • Same-day cancellation or no-show: No refund
     

Liability Policy

The Renter assumes full responsibility for:


  • Guests
  • Vendors
  • Event activities
  • Property damage
  • Injuries or accidents


Journey Event Center and its staff are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Safety Requirements

 All renters and vendors must comply with:

  • Local, state, and federal laws
  • Fire and safety code 
  • Occupancy limits

 

The following are prohibited:

  • Blocking exits or walkways 
  • Open flames, candles, fireworks, fog machines, or pyrotechnics
  • Tampering with safety equipment
     

Journey Event Center reserves the right to shut down any event that poses a safety risk.

Setup & Cleanup Policy

The venue must be returned in the same condition as received.


Renters are responsible for:

  • Removing all decorations, food, and personal items
  • Bagging and disposing of all trash properly
  • Cleaning tables, chairs, and surfaces
  • Sweeping and cleaning floors
     

Items left behind will be considered abandoned.


Excessive cleaning may result in partial or full forfeiture of the $300 cleanup deposit.

Important Notice to All Clients

 

For the protection of our business and to remain in compliance with property and city regulations, all clients must adhere to the following policies before and after appointments:

  • No lingering in the parking lot or on the sidewalk
     
  • No smoking or vaping on or near the premises
     
  • No consumption of alcoholic beverages in the parking lot or on the sidewalk
     
  • Arrive no earlier than your scheduled appointment time
     
  • Depart promptly after your service is completed
     

Failure to comply with these policies may result in immediate event termination and serious consequences for our business, including complaints, fines, or loss of operating privileges for which you could be held liable.


We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. These policies allow us to continue providing services in a safe, respectful, and professional environment.
